This large backyard in La Jolla was in serious need of a facelift when the homeowners called San Diego Swimming Pool Removal powered by James Construction Cleanup Inc. Their old pool took up their patio space limiting their ability to host backyard get togethers. The pool was no longer being used and required an excess of weekly maintenance. In addition to removing their pool, the homeowners were interested in conducting a complete renovation with the help of our partner The Landscape Company. With some team collaboration, including our specialty contracting choice at Urban Xscapes, this La Jolla backyard went from outdated to magazine worthy in just a couple of months.
Our demolition crew accessed the pool through the side gate and were able to break up the concrete walls in a few days. After the compacted dirt was inspected, our pool demolition team passed the torch to The Landscape Company.
Our team at The Landscape Company managed the installation of this backyard paradise installed by our contracting partner. Inspired by the excellent year-round weather and laid back vibes of La Jolla, we created a backyard oasis that has something for everyone. A bocci ball court is lined with swings perfectly situated for court-side viewing. A white rose garden lines the path between the grass and patio. Under the white patio cover, matching patio furniture allows for a comfortable seating area that acts as an extension from the custom built fire place.
The fire place is the focal point of this yard and sits where the shallow end of the pool once was. New guests would never be able to guess that there used to be a pool in this area of the yard! A large dining table is perfect for hosting dinners cooked with fresh vegetables from the planter boxes installed on the side yard.
